The subject of Rev. H. Ken
drick’s sermon at the Pente
costal Tabernacle was “We Wor
ship a Risen Lord” and the
service embodied much singing
from soloists as well as the con
gregation.
The Dutch people of the dist
rict came to Exeter for Easter
worship at the Legion Hall. Rev.
C. M. Eeelman preached a ser
mon on the newness of life in
Jesus Christ. He said that we
are to go forth as Christians in
the newly resurrected life that
Jesus Christ has .given.
The Dutch chorus group sang
several hymns in their native
tongue and the service was part
ly in Dutch and partly in Eng
lish.
