Children up to the age of 14, unless accompanied by an adult, must be off the village streets by 9:30 p.m. until May 1, and from May 1 until September 15 by 10:30, reverting back to 9:30 p.m. aftei’ September 15. Council donated $50 to the Grand Bend branch Canadian Legion for the children’s Christ­ mas tree party. Reeve Harmon Gill and coun­ cillor Peter Eisenbach were ap­ pointed a committee to meet Stephen and Bosanquet councils on the question of final village settlement. The sign, which will be erect­ ed by the Lions Club at the en­ trance of Huron street, will be operated and maintained by the village. Councillors William Glenn and Kenneth Young were appointed to the Relief Committee. The condition of the village garbage dump was discussed. The next council meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 8, and regular meetings will be held the first Tuesday every month.
