game in spite of their defeat
and there is certainly lots of
talent on that team; just lack
of practice and experience,
lieve.
The Senior Girls played
and were victorious with a
of 25-16, Everyone worked
in securing the victory and I
would like to commend all the
girls for the good game they
turned in, A lot of us found we
were out of condition and agreed
that could be remedied by a
great deal of practice.
The Senior Boys’ game was
last and they were defeated 26-
13 by a good Goderich team. It
was a tough, hard game and the
boys deserve a lot of credit.
There was certainly no lack of
spirit, as the boys were in there
fighting as a team all the way.
We understand the teams from
Goderich have been practising
for some time and that with
more practice we should be able
to beat them in the future,
The Tea Dance was held last
Thursday in the gym. I must say
the boys turned out in better
numbers and by the end of the
school year we expect to see all
of the boys present. During the
dance many of the students won
