The Senior Girls played and were victorious with a of 25-16, Everyone worked in securing the victory and I would like to commend all the girls for the good game they turned in, A lot of us found we were out of condition and agreed that could be remedied by a great deal of practice. The Senior Boys’ game was last and they were defeated 26- 13 by a good Goderich team. It was a tough, hard game and the boys deserve a lot of credit. There was certainly no lack of spirit, as the boys were in there fighting as a team all the way. We understand the teams from Goderich have been practising for some time and that with more practice we should be able to beat them in the future, The Tea Dance was held last Thursday in the gym. I must say the boys turned out in better numbers and by the end of the school year we expect to see all of the boys present. Mrs. Rodney Bowman of Wind­ sor and Miss Velma Guettinger of Chicago are spending this week at the home of their par­ ents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Guettinger. We are sorry to report that Mrs. Guettinger’s condition does not improve. Mrs. F. W. Clark returned from St. Joseph’s Hospital last week. Athough her condition has improved, Mrs. Clark is .confined to her bed, with Mrs. Horton of Exeter in attendance. Miss Grace Gaiser, who was jll last week and spent several days In St. Joseph’s Hospital, London, has returned to her home. Miss Dorothy Fink bei n er underwent an operation on her nose last week in London Hos­ pital, , Little Miss Janet Gaslio of Zurich spent the week-end with Miss M. Schenk at the home of Mr. H. K.
