Don O'Brien captured four firsts to lead the junior hoys, while in the senior class Murray May* carried off top honors with the maximum points. One division produced tie champions. That was in the jun­ ior girls, MelJja King and Labelle Hill each ran up a total of 13 ! points. In the intermediate girls,! Anne Hildebrand collected 1$ points to take the championship, In the other boys’ events, Ron Heimrich ran up four firsts and. a second to win the title with 18 joints. Grand Bend 1 led by Captain Lawrence Mason, who r o 11 e d 725 (310), smothered the under­ staffed Hensall squad three games, one game of Bill Brown ,___ score of 607 (219) to pace his team. Seedsmed and Spare Parts split the points in their three games, the former taking two games while the Spare Parts grabbed one game plus the , aggregate score. Jack Fulcher was the only Seedsman over the 600 mark, rolling 603 (214), although Der­ ry Boyle did get one good game of 223. Ed Hunter-Duvar’s men didn’t have one man average 200 for the evening, but they- still came up with some fine . single scores. Johnny Schroedqr tossed a high of 241, while Ed Hunter- Duvar rolled one of 228. The newly organized Dukes, captained by Jack McKnight, ran into an extra hot team in the Pinpoppers. Led by Frank Creech who bowled an aggregate of 725 (305), the .Pinpoppers swamped the Dukes and took all four points. Bob Nicol also had a good evening for the Pin­ poppers with 634 (249). Jack McNight was the only Duke who could seem to untrack himself. He rolled 578 (208). The standing will be comput­ ed by giving one point for a win and a point for aggregate score. The schedule has been revised and is printed below. It is ad­ visable to clip this out and keep it for reference.
