The course included a two day. visit to the institute of Aviation Medicine, in Toron to, where the safety equipment developed there was studied. Squadron Leader McLeod is the accident prevention officer for RCAF Station Centralia. Flying Training School held a stag party for Squadron Leader “Dick” Forbes- Ro'berts, who is taking a new assignment in Vancouver, where he will be in charge of the Auxiliary Support Unit for the City of _ Squadron. Dick has just recently been at St. Hubert, Montreal, where he topk a conversion course on Vampire aircraft. >i< * « * A group of airmen last week took a one day projectionist course given by Flight Sergeant Dawes of Central Air Command Headquarters. The -course qual ifies them to operate any sixteen millimeter projector, for use in trade improvement lectures. * * * * The station curlers wound up the curling season last Saturday with a bonspiel held in the London Curling Club. Four rinks -competed and the honours went to the rink skipped by Squadron Leader Frank Wat kins. Other members of the winning rink were F/L “Porky” Halkett.
