Last Friday was a lucky day
for the seniors. Certainly they
did not depend on luck, though
since a score of 38-20 by the

obviously required good hard

Fairfield Farm Forum
The Fairfield Farm F o r u m
met Monday night at the home
of Gordon Wilson with 16 pre
sent. A strong discussion on the
best way to market farm pro
ducts led to the conclusion that
the open market was the best.
The Co-operative and Wheat
Hoards had done some* .good
work but no system to market
ing. Its success lay in the supply
and demand of any product. In
order to avoid surplus crop and
low markets, it is advisable to
keep farm crops as mixed as
possible not jumping to big pro
duction in any one product.
Over / period of some years this
system would be best.

Dear Twins:
If there is something you want,
so I’ve heard tell,
You just whisper youi- wishes
down this wishing well,
Then twine the

While up come
are wishing
Now a lot of things, so it seems
to me,
Must fill the minds of these
brides-to-be—
There’re two houses to be finished,
two hubbies to be fed,
So linen is needed for table and
bed.
They wished for this and they
wished for that,
But it’s no use of one's talking-
through his hat,
for you two girls, we’ve a
wishing well—
its secret depths your wishes
tell.
Then turn the windlass while
we’ve go oui- fingers crossed
Hoping it has none of
lost,
twins, we think
of you,
want every wish
hearts to come true.
we’ve added, to yours, our
good wishes galore, »
Heaven send you blessings
in generous store.
