MaciLean, a for mer well-known Hensall -resident, -passed away in London on Wed nesday in her 8 9 th year. Mrs. Mac- Lean was born in Tuckersmith the (former Margaret Ross, and lived in Hensall for many years. She suffered a fractured hip in a fall (recently from which she never fully recovered. Surviving are one son, Wilson MacLean, Chicaigo, and one sister, Mrs. McFaul, St. Thomas. The funeral service was held from Hensall United Church on -Friday at 2.30 J).,m. conducted by *Rev7 Jas. ’Anthony "of Exeter. Former Baker Retires Joseph S. Grant, of Glencoe, a baker for 54 years, has retired from business. Mr. Grant learned his trade in Scotland. In 1910 he moved to Glencoe with his family and in 1926 came to Exeter where h© established his own business. He returned to Glencoe in 1934. H-. d. Carey, barber, and son-in-law of Mr. Grant and formerly of Exe ter, has -purchased the store vaoat- ed by Mr. Grant.
