Yaki allowed no hits and no runs while the South collect­ ed two hits off Malcho in fourth with Chown tying score after getting a single, vancing to second and third Bevington’s double and on Holtzman’s infield roller. The Mitchell hurler allowed one hit and no runs in the fifth but in the sixth gave up two more hits and a run that put the South in front. Chown again crossed the plate on Bevington's single after slamming out a hard double. In the last three innings Ga­ tenby and Sadler shared the. mound duty for the North while Elson hurled for the South. In the seventh Catrano walked and Revington got to first on a fiel­ der’s choice. Both scored to give the South a 4-2 lead.
