Miss Anne Morgan, of London spent the week-end at her home. We are glad to report that Mr. Elford. who has been con fined to his bed, is able to be up and around again. Several of the ladies from this community attended the London Conference Branch of the Women’s Missionary Society in James Street Church, Exeter, Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Rev. and Mrs. Mair and Mrs. W. E. Ferguson attended the South Huron Ministerial Meeting at the home of Rev. and Mrs. H. Mahoney in Exeter on Mon day afternoon of this week. Special Mothers’ Day service will be observed this Sunday at Sunday school and church. Mr. Hubert Jones, of Exeter, will be guest speaker at Sunday school. A cordial invitation is extended to all parents. Church service will follow at 11:15 a.m. with Mothers’ Day service and a mothers’ choir. Special evening service will be held in the Sunday school room Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m. A picture entitled “Beyond Our Own” will be shown. We hope for a good attendance as this picture comes highly recommend ed. Choir practice will be held Friday evening in the church for the “Mothers’ Choir” for the Sunday morning service.
