The regular meeting of the Young People's Union was held on Sunday evening with the Missionary committee, Phyllis Wheeler and Ruth Hazelwood. Phyllis gave the Call to Wor­ ship followed by the Theme song; hymn 96; story ’’The Myths were Driven Away” by Merle Hazelwood; poem “The Other Choice” by Betty Mills. The scripture lesson was read by Verla Wheeler and a vocal duet was given by Marian and Kenneth Mills. Roll call and minutes were read ,and adopted. Hymn 94 was followed by pray­ er by Ruth Hazelwood; story “Mountain Tide” by John Rodd, “Discussion on Christ for the World by (Bessle McCurdy, Om- bra Copeland, .Dianne Marriott and Phyllis Wheeler; hymn 81. The meeting closed with the Young People’s benediction Phy­ llis Wheeler led in Bible Base­ ball. . M rs. Grace Bremmer Mrs. Grace Bremner, widow of Rev. W. A. Bremner, former­ ly of Brucefield, passed away at St. Thomas Thursday morning of last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Colin West, with whom she had made her home since Mr. Bremner's death five years ago. A native of Woodslee daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Richardson, she had lived at Buxton, Brace­ bridge, Ripley, St. Thomas, Co- bourg and Brucefield, before going to Seaforth where Mr. Bremner was pastor of North­ side United Church.
