The evening and final .game
lacked the sparkle, zip, and ex
citement of the afternoon game.
The teams were fairly evenly
matched, Our boys had the edge
on the shooting but were weak
defensively. After starting slow
ly they seemed to gain stability
when Hunter-Duvar came on the
floor. Uel Schroeder potted a
nice long shot.
The last half went quickly.
Exeter fought hard despite the
loss of George Rether on five
fouls. Although two of Amherst-
burgs best players were banish-
during the last six minutes on
five fouls, oui’ boys were too
exhausted from their strenuous
games to capitalize on
break. The game was
refereed. All our boys played
well and even although they
lost by four points, we’re really
very proud of them.
