B. Saunders, of Lon don, received word of the death of her sister. Mrs. Richard.J Jones, of Richmond Beach. Washington. U.S.A, which took place Sunday, January 18th at the age of seventy-five. Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Jarrott of Kippen. Two years ago she and her husband visited her sis ter in London and two brothers James and Norman Jarrott and the old homestead at Kippen, they having not met for thirty- nine years. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband, one son, Noble Jones, of Rich mond Beach, U.S.A., one sister, Mrs. Saunders, of London and two brothers, James and Nor man Jarrott, of Kippen. Former Hensall Resident Passes J. E. McEwan, of Hensall, has received word of the death of his sister, Mrs. Homer Con ley of Winnipeg. She was the former Katherine McEwan and was born in Hensall. She receiv ed her education in Hensall and before leaving with her husband for the West spent some time in Toronto. Surviv ing are her husband, one daugh ter Mrs. Donald Ferguson (Thelma) Montreal; one son Harold, of Vancouver; four sis ters, Misses Lillian and Edith McEwan, of London; -Mrs. Fowler, Wolseley, iSask; Poustie, Winnipeg and one ther, Jack, of Hensall.
