Phone 31W Until Further Notice Our Office Will Close Charles Casey Way The sudden death on Christmas morning of a well-known resident of Tuckersmith in the person of Charles Casey Way, was a shock to his many friends and neighbors He had undergone a serious oper­ ation the day before Christmas at St. Joseph’s Hospital, London, en­ tering that hospital one week be­ fore. He was born at Goderich, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alva and was married in Clinton in 1931, He is survived by his wife, Mary Pearl Pepper, one brother, Clare Way, Bayfield, and four sis­ ters, Mrs. Russell Dallas, Tucker­ smith. Mrs. Ida Jackson, Hensail, Mrs. Robert Cross, Woodstock and Mrs. Harold Shera, Seaforth. A largely attended funeral was held on Sunday, Dec. 28 from his late residence with Rev. A. Constant, persistent, sleep­ less, overcoming prayer is God’s appointed way for obtaining things and the great secret of all lack in our experience, in our life and in our work is neglect of prayer. Leaders were chosen for prayer groups. On Saturday a schedule was followed from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. when the rally was held. Time was allotted for private dev­ otions, for prayer in .groups and for prayer and praise in unison. Bible study and. discussions were arranged for, also choral practice and a busy day resulted. On (Sunday morning at 10 o’clock all met for (Sunday School, con­ ference members being guest teach­ ers and providing special music. The closing session was held in the afternoon when each confer­ ence member expressed the value of the conference to himself in-' dividually. Each one expressed the realization of God’s blessing and a desire to give the blessing out to others, and each looked forward to another such conference in the near future. Those who spent much time, prayer and work to make this con­ ference a blessing to others wish to thank all who helped in any way, especially those who took the young people into their homes. “Inasmuch as Ye have done it un­ to one of the least of these my brethren, Ye have done it unto me” were the words of our Lord., Fifty members were enrolled but numbers were not the conference.
