He and Mrs. Sanders visited for some time in Stratford and turned to Exeter Mrs. Sanders was George Watts, of ■and will be remembered by some of the older residents as the for­ mer Alice Peterson. They were married in the Anglican Church at Port Arthur, December 6th at 2:00 p.m. by the rector, Rev. J. S. Snedley. They spent that afternoon with a niece of Mrs. Sanders and then took the train for Toronto where they visited until Christmas ■at the home of Mr. Sander’s daughter, Mrs. Robert Dale. They also spent a few days at the home of Mrs. Peter Robertson at Strat­ ford. Mr. Sanders left Exeter Oc­ tober 31st for Manitoba where he visited at Barwick. He spent a few ■days with his brother Dan, at Car­ man, and at Crystal City, visited with a niece, Mrs. Cliff Birdie. Mr. and Mrs. Birdie own the farm of 800 acres formerly owned by the Hon. Thomas Greenway. While at Crystal City, he renewed the ■acquaintnce of Frank Stacey, Mrs. John Cudmore, Wm. Brooks and Wm. Walters, former Exeterites. During the business period the Institute decided to send an­ other shipment of woollens for blankets. The old woollens are to be left with Mrs. Garnet Hicks, ■Mrs. J. Kirkland or Mrs. Dougall before Jan. 15th. This Institute is adopting an Institute overseas and each member is asked to bring a donation of money or food to the next meeting. Mrs. E. Mitchell spoke on the District Rally which was held at Hensail. Mrs. K.
