The address was as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Trueblood and Irene: We pause in the midst of our gaiety and fun to remind ourselves of how quickly the past three years have sped away and of how fast the time is approaching when you will be leaving our community to take up residence in Stratford. To you, Mr. Trueblood, we would like to express our appreciation of your wonderful leadership, and the help ful messages you have brought to us each week. We have found you to be a friend in whom we could confide, and one who was always ready and willing to help. And to you. Irene, the members of the young ladies’ class in the church school felt they could not allow you to leave us without ex pressing to you our appreciation of your faithful attendance and help each Sunday, and as you make new friends in your new surroundings we hope you will reserve a corner in your memory for the Good Cheer Class in Crediton.
