late Mrs. Thomas Ogden, 79, held
on Saturday, May 17th Grace Unit
ed church of Fillmore, Sask., was
filled to capacity with relatives*
and friends who gathered to pay
their respects to an early Pioneer,
a loved friend, and a good neigh
bor. Of a quiet disposition, Mrs.
Ogden’s
known
noted for its hospitality and help
fulness. Her influence will long
be felt and her memory cherished.
Mrs. Ogden was born in Preston,,
Ont. January 2nd, 1868. She was
married December 22nd, 1892 and

Roy and family they came to Fill
more to reside. Her passing was
due to a diabetic heart condition,
and following a few hours illness,
with her family all about her. she
passed peacefully away on Thurs
day morning, May 15th. The ser
vice was conducted by Rev. A. D.
Stade B.A. B.D. The choir sang
"Father in Thy Gracious Keeping”
Other hymns used were "What al
friend we have in Jesus” and
"Safe in the Arms of Jesus". Left
to mourn besides her husband are
2 sons, Roy, of Fillmore and Fred
Creelman and eight grandchildren,
Melville, Clifford, Kenneth. Gord-
jon, Maxine, Shirley, Lorraine and
I Norman Ogden, one sister. Mrs. E.
! Beck. Detroit and three brothers.

Ontario. Friends from a distance
attending the funeral were, Mr.
