Mr. Ken Hodgins was at Niagara Falls last week attending the Creamerymen’s Convention of the Canada Packers, Ltd. Ken and Jim Cook were among the prize winners. The Late Mrs. Sherritt The funeral of the May Sherritt, wife of Wilson, 298 Egan Ave., Quebec, who died Tuesday, Novem­ ber 13th in Montreal General Hos­ pital was held November 15th. In­ terment took place in M,R. Ceme­ tery, Montreal. Mrs. Wilson, daugh­ ter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Sherritt, was a resident of Stephen Township until her marriage. Auto Accident We are glad to report that Mr and Mrs. Thos. Trevethick and Mr and Mrs. B. Kestle have recovered from injiyies received in a motor accident near Exeter last week. All received a severe ■ shake-up and Mr Trevethick received facial lacera­ tions and Mrs. Kestle suffered foot injuries. Father and Sou Banquet Rev. A. B. Irwin, of James Street United Church, Exeter, *was guest speaker at a father and son banquet held in the schoolroom of the Evan­ gelical Church. Ninety-eight men attended the dinner which was serv­ ed by the Ladies’ Aid of the church. Rev. M. E. Reuber , was in charge of the program and Mr. Lawrence Wein, of Exeter, directed a sing­ song. Several numbers were given by the Exeter Male Quartette and Mr. Chas. Hoffman sang a solo.
