Certainly there not be another Government for a year. Even though the war even though expenditures greatly reduced, there is for vast revenues. In the nature of the 9th loan is for a larger objective than any previous loan. Huron County’s share is $4,379,000, an increase of 32% ovex* the last loan. We cannot face the prospect of raising such & large amount with any careless optimism. There is no reason for fearing that it cannot he done. But there are many reasons for knowing that this time our Victory Loan organization will have people of Huron will have to make a more substantial response than ever before. I do not hide my feeling of ur gency and anxiety. Rather I want to impart to every victory Loan work er and to every Huron citizen that sense of urgency and anxiety, I know that we have never failed before but this time there are dif ferent factors in the case and the only guarantee pf success that we have is in the diligence and deter mination of our lenders and in the Ipyaj support of the people. It is not to be thought of that Huron. County will fail in this last Loan, but it will succeed there is a great rallying of all over the county.
