The Exeter Times-Advocate, 1944-10-26, Page 6Confound this old sink, anyhow!" complained Elmer. “Why don’t we get a new one?” “That would be nice,” answered Elsie, the Borden Cow. “But we can get along with this one if you’ll just be patient. Besides, we can use the money to buy a Victory Bond.” “I’ve already planned for our Victory Bond purchases,” announced Elmer. “Silly!” laughed Elsie. “We can always buy an extra one, can’t we? In fact, now is the time when we should give our fighting forces greatest support!” “But Mamma,” said Beulah, “isn’t the war nearly over?” “Things do look bright,” replied Elsie. “But we mustn’t let down our effort on the home front one little bit!” THE TJMB^ADVOeATE, EXETER ONTARIO, THURSDAY MORNING, OCTpRER 26, 1944 CENTRALIA Mr. and Mrs. S.
