A quiet wedding took place in
Granton United Church when Miss
Lorraine Wass, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. J. Morley Wass, became the
bride of Frederick Swann, son of
Mrs. Swann and the late William
Swann, of London. " The church
was beautifully decorated with
autumn flowers. The bride -was
charming in a jacket dress of berry
wine imported wool. Trapunto em
broidery in an artistic design made
the jacket effective. She wore a
beautiful corsage of yellow roses
and delphinium blue. Her hat was
a tailored felt and her accessories
were of black suede. The brides
maid, Miss Marion Wass, sister of
the bride, was wearing an air tra.-
veleur blue crepe dress with a wide
belt of coral and white'embroidery
with a corsage of American Beauty
roses. The groom was attended by|
his brother, George Swann, of Lon
don.
The bride’s mother was gowned
in a navy blue crepe dress with
hat to match and wore pink roses.
The groom’s mother’s dress was
• navy blue sheer and her flowers
were pink, carnations. The wedding
music was played by Mervin Wass,
B.A,, of Windsor, brother of the
bride. Rev, J« Cook, was the of
ficiating minister. The wedding
breakfast was served .at the home
of the bride’s parents, after which
the bridal couple left on a motor
trip. They will reside in London.,
