ing was Mr. F. Mackie, presi-
dent of the London Chapter of
the Cystic Fibrosis Society.

vice at St. George's was high

given by Bishop Chandu Ray,
visiting Huron Diocese on sp-
ecial leave from Karachi, West
Pakistan.
At its next regular meeting
on the evening of October 2,
the 'Friendship Club will make
plans for the pre - ChristmaS
Tea held annually on a Wed-
nesday afternoon late in Nov-
ember.

tancy of cystic fibrosis patients

The Cystic Fibrosis Society
is a voluntary health organiza-
tion, dedicated to cystic fib-
rosis research and to the ob-
jectives ,of ,professional, public

It is encouraging, Mr.
Mackie stated, that due to re-
search the life expectancy of
the cystic fibrosis child has
been raised from one to twelve
years and in some cases into
adult life.
