Marks 75th Artniv' crsary The annual Harvest Home services will be held this Sun- day, September 22 in St. Mark's Anglican Church, Au- burn, The rector, Rev, Robert Meally will be in charge of the services with Morning Prayer service at 12 noon and the Evensong at 7:30 p.m. Special music will be given and everyone is welcome. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Robert- son moved last week from their Colborne Township farm home to the new home of their son, Clayton, in the village. The Auburn librarian an, nounces that many new books have been added to the public library. ' Mr. and Mrs, Donald Kai, Oakville, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas John- ston, Mr, and Mrs. Robert Phil- lips and Miss Laura Phillips visited last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Sid Plowright at Lucknow. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mcllmur- ray, Flint, Mich., visited over the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. William J. Craig and other relatives. Mr. Robert Wilkin accomp- panied his uncle, Mr. Harry Worsell and son Terry to De- troit on Sunday to see a ball game. Mrs. Harry Worsell, Gode- rich, and Mr. William S. G. Anderson read the scripture lesson and gave meditation on same. Mrs. Victor Youngblut led in prayer, The president of the Auburn Auxiliary, Mrs, Wilfred Sand- erson, also welcomed all dele- gates to the meeting. The secretary, 'Mrs. Wil- fred Sanderson read the minut- es and Mrs. Arnold McConnell gave the financial statement and with a chart showed the increased givings in nearly. all departments in the Presbyter- ial. evening. An address was read by Wil- liam Dobie and a purse of money was presented by Wil- liam Seers. Music for dancing was sup- plied by Norris' orchestra. Off To School Gordon Govier, Allan Craig, Jim Lawlor and Ken Sproul are Attending the new vocational school at Clinton this year. Beginners at USS No. 5, Hul- lett were: Loraine Chamney, Jayne Arthur, Wayne Powell and Larry Plaetzer. Misses Marie Leatherland and Marilyn Daer are attend- ing Goderich Business College this year.
