at the Airmen's Mess, RCAF
tA`ation Clinton, was startled
last Friday, September 28, as
he busily cracked a ' batch of
double -yolked eggs for break-
fast , , Something rolled out
an the .grill from one of the
eggs ..:.and this proved to, be
a small, though ,complete egg,
with normally -formed brown
shell . The little egg was
about three-quarters of an inch.
in diameter. He inquired
about it 'from the older cooks
at the station, but no one had
ever -seen such a thing before.

MAYBE MOST STRANGE
eggs never get off the farm .. .
at least when we chatted this
thing over with our less aged
parent . ; ..She recalled some
peculiar eggs which an old
white 'duck we once had, used
to lay . . . One day, this duck
is supposed to have laid three
eggs, one after the other, in
the space of less than an hour
.. .As Mother recalls this, one
was a ,normal egg ... one had
a soft shell ... and she rather
doubts that there was a shell

That was a duck who just'
couldn't resisltexperimenting , .
