From Overseas
Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Mid-
dleton returned Monday from
several weeks abroad, after cov-
ering a distance of over 12,000
miles. They enjoyed a conducted
tour of England and Scotland,
with headquarters in London
and Edinburgh.
After this they went on a
second tour which included Fr-
ance, Monaco, the French and
Italian Rivieras, with headquar-
terq in Paris and Nice. Mr. and
Mrs. Middleton reported excel-
lent weather throughout and
the grain crops are still being
harvested in England and Scot-
land, due to the wettest sum-
mer in years.
Stewart attended an Aber-
deen Angus sale of cattle in
Perth, Scotland, and was guest
at the Dalmey Farms on Lord
Rosslyn's estate.
On Monday, September 10,
Mr. and Mrs. Middleton lunched
in London, England, and were
in London, Ontario by jet flight
by 7.30 p.m. the same day, con-
cluding a most enjoyable trip.

Anne, have returned from Los
Angeles, California, where Mr.
Grindley obtained his Ph. D.
degree from U.C.L.A. They are
visiting with Mrs. Grindlay's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Middleton, RR 3, Clinton at
present, and will make their
home in London, where Mr. Gr-
indley is on staff of the School

her life. She was a member of
Ontario Street United• Church.
Surviving are two sons, Keith
and Harold, Clinton; one broth-
er, Harold Pickett, Clinton and
'two sisters Mrs. Oscar (Har-
riet) Blanchard and Mrs. Glen
(Effie) Cornish. A brother,
Wilfred land a sister, Rena
Pickett both predeceased her.
