The church was decorated
with white 'mums and pink
cernataions, potted ferns, ;and
candelabra.

The -bride given in marriage

traditional floor length gown of
silk organza over taffeta, ac-
cented with guipure lace mot-
ifs and dainty :bows'. The bod-

sleeves and a scalloped seb-
rine . neckline sprinkled with

ant shirt featured a back bustle

Mr. Shan,ahan, a iiptive of
Clinton and graduate of
'CDCI, joined 'the Bank of
Montreal in 1951. He sub-
sequently served ;at branches
at Goderich, Creditor, Zurich,
Mount Forest, Ingersoll and
Grirrisiby.
In April, 1958 he was ap-
pointed as'sis'tant accountant
at Simcoe and, two years lat-
er, moved to Newmarket as
accountant. He leaves that
post to manage the Chippaswa
branch.
Mr. Shanahan married 'the
f or mer Leota Freeman,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Douglas Freeman; Mary
Street. They have three chil-
dren, Kevin, Karen and
Kathy.

Katherine Dale nieces of the
bride, were flower girls. Their
dresses were pink silk organza
over 'taffeta, They wore mat-
ching headdresses and lockets;
and carried baskets of white
baby 'mums,

was his brother's groomsman.
Murray Lyon, Londesboro, bro-
ther-in-law of the' hride, and

brother .of the groom, ushered
guests.
A reception followed in' :the
Londesboro United Church par-
lours where' the Londeshowo

a delicious dinner. The wait-

accessories and a corsage of
chalice roses. She was assisted
by the 'groom's mother, who
had chosen :a blue sparkle or-
ganza over taffeta sheath with
white accessories and: a :corsage
of pink roses.
For 'travelling on a honey-
moon to points east, the bride
chose a mauve embroidered
sheath with matching duster,
white accesiseries and a corsage
of white carnations. On' their
return the' couple will reside
art Teeswater.
