At that time Mr. E. A. Follick who con­ ducted a bake-shop a few doors south of the property and who has always been a lover of birds savr a bird hanging from the top branoiies of the tree. It was caught by a string ar«und its foot. Mr. Follicfe climb­ ed a high board fence that then sur­ rounded the .property, scaled the tree and sated the bird’s life. EXETER, ONT. Mrs. Maude Harvey, 61 Byron Ave London, was removed to Victoria Hospital by police ambulance about 9 o’clock Sunday night when she was knocked down by a car not far from her home. Hospital authorities said her injuries were not of a serious nature.
