We regret deeply that you find it necesa-ry to leave us and to make your ho^ne elsewhere remem­ bering especially the willingness with which you .have always taken 1 your part and shown your interest in every department of our church work. We shall greatly miss you in -our Sabbath .School, in our Woman’s Missionary .Society and on our offi­ cial Board meetings. We remember, too, that for many years, yours have been the reverent hands that have been providing the bread and wine for our communion services and—so it to us, with due sense of its sacred' character always, For these and all other favors we now want to thank you But more we now want to thank you for your splendid example of Christian fidelity bo your church and to any task to which you have put you hand; for we were always {pleasantly impressed by the fact, that whatever duty you undertook it was always faithfully and con­ scientiously performed. Only recently the family had had a re-union on the occasion ,of their son’s wedding in Watrous, iSask. We extend our sympathy to all the bereaved ones. Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson, of St. Petersburg, Florida, have been guests with Mr. Laurie and Miss Leask. Mrs. W. Fletz, of Parkhill, is spending a couple of weeks with Mrs, H. Battram who is now improving after her recent operation. Mr. and Mrs. G. Kirkby and Mr, and Mrs. S. W. Webb attended the memorial services in Nairn held by the IO.O.F. on (Sunday. Kirkby spent last Fri­ day evening at the home of Mrs. John Pollock in honor of Mr. Kirkby and his wife who were present, Rev. J. B. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Troyer, of Toronto, spent the past week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Horner. While returning from Hensall last week ’Mr. Harry Rose accompanied by Mr. Charles- Meyers were injured and ther car wrecked. In some man­ ner the car swerved into the ditc-h near a culvert striking the abutment. Mr. Meyers was thrown through the windshield and knocked unconscious Mr. Rose received minor injuries and the car was badly wrecked.
