Bissett’s family moved to Brantford- this week, Mr. Biesett having last week secured a position in the Verity Plow works. This district experienced a few 'de­ gree# of frost on Thursday last, May 5th, sufficient to make ice an eighth of an inch thick. Mr. Geo. Blatchford, >of Wingham, was here part of the week. Mrs. McDonell, of Listowel, is vis­ iting hei; mother, Mrs. Welsh. Mrs. Thos. Flynn visited her dau­ ghter Mrs. Lovel in London . last week. Miss Annie Heideman, of Clinton, and her cousin Miss Heideman, Zu­ rich, were her over Sunday. Miss Emma iSeldon, of Ingersoll,- is visiting her grandmother Mrs. Samwell and other relatives in town. Mr. and Mrs. Win. Heaman and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Heaman, of iLon- odn, were 'here Saturday in their auto. Mr. IS. W» Palmer and family, of Interlochin, Mich., are visiting Mr. Palmer’s brothers at the Commercial Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rhode, Dash­ wood, are spending a few days with friends in town prior to leaving for Turgoose, B. C„ where they intend making their future home. Mrs. Jones and daughter, Exeter North, left Monday for Brantford where they will make their future home, the former’s- son Frank hav­ ing accepted a position with the Ver­ ity Co.
