Active in politics, he was a Con servative. He was interested in municipal affairs, for 17 years serv ing as a councillor and reeve of the Township. Wilfred Seeley, of Clinton# had a narrow escape re cently when they collided with an other cai* neai* Sarnia. They were returning horn© when a car cut lit on them with the result they were* thrown down a seven foot embank ment. Mx* Seeley was thrown clear* but Mfs. Seeley was pinned under neath th© car.
