Lee, second concession of McGilli vray Township, cutting the tails off three horses. The act has created angry feeling among farmers in the district who are guarding against :re- occurence of the trouble. When Mr. Lee entered the barn to feed the stock in 'the morning, he noticed several things*, including a buggy, were not in their usual place, and when he entered the stable, hair was strewn about the floor. The horses, including a young team, will be unfit for sale, accord ing to the family. Mrs. Lee said although the police were not notified, they had *a good idea who had mutiliated the animals. A -guard is being kept at night over the stable. One of the -tires on Mr. Lee’s car was punctured by the marauders. 25th Anniversary A very pleasant time was spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs*. Frank Harbarn, Cromarty, when they en tertained their brothers and sisters, also a few friends, to a fowl dinner it being the occasion of the 25 th an niversary of their wedding d-ay. Rev. F. L. Harburn, -of Buffalo -acted as toastmaster, and some very old fash ioned stories were unfurled, which caused much merriment. Rev. James Reidie, their pastor, gave a humro- ■ous talk full of good advice, as did also their brother-in-law, Jas. Hill. The bridegroom of 25 years* ago re plied, .assuring all present that it was a very great pleasure to hear so many kind words. The family of five boys and three girls were all present, al so one grandchild. The afternoon was* spent in a so cial manner and was mucn enjoyed by all present. Best wishes 'for a pleasant and happy life were extend ed by the guests. Our Letter Box Bindloss, Alta. The Exeter Tjmes-Advocate Dear Sins,— This is the month for renewing my subscription.
