Death of Louis Smith
The death occured in Detroit on
Wednesday evening last, of Mr.’
Louis Smith, a resident of that city
and a former resident of Hensall.
Mr. Smith was stricken with appen
dicitis on Monday evening and rush
ed to the hospital for an operation,
but failed to rally and passed away
on Wednesday evening. Some years
ago lie, with his mother and older

Church by taking part in the choir
at the Sunday service. Besides his
widow he leaves to mourn his loss,
five young children, four boys and
one girl; one brother, Mr. David
Smith, of Detroit. Mr. Smith was a
lover of music, and took great in
terest in the Y. M. C. A. work in the
city of Detroit. The funeral took
place Saturday afternoon from the
late home on Larchmont Ave.. Mrs.
