NOTICE is hereby given that I have complied with
Section 9 of The Voters' Lists Act and that I have posted
up at my office at Tuckersmith on the 27th day of Octo-
ber, 1961, the list of all persons entitled to vote in the said
Municipality at municipal elections and that such list
remains there for inspection.
AND I hereby call upon all voters to take immediate
proceedings to have any errors or omissions corrected
according to law, the last day for appeal being the 10th
day of November, 1961.

her a speedy recovery.
Mrs. J. C. Stoltz is visiting
with her daughter, Mrs. Marg-
uerite Chopin at Wingbarn this
week.

daughter, Mrs. James Johnston
Bluevale visited last Saturday
with Mr, and Mrs, J, C. Stoltz.
Mrs. Stanley Johnston has
returned home after several
days visiting her family in Lon-
don and Goderich.
Mr, and Mrs. Maitland Allen
are visiting with Mr. and Mrs.
W. H. Coates, Flint, Michigan
this week.
J. C. Stoltz was taken by
ambulance to the Clinton Pub-
lic Hospital last Saturday ev-
ening.

New Hall
Auburn Community Memorial.
Hall is nearing completion, and
of the needed $16,000 up to date
more than $12,000 has been
paid. It is a laminated arch
building 40'x80' with an audi-
torium 40'x50' and kitchen,
washrooms a n d committee
rooms have been included.
Sponsors are holding a rum-
mage sale soon to raise funds
for the 'abject.
4-H Homemakers
The fourth meeting of the Au-
burn Aces 4-H Club was held
at the home of Laura Daer.
The president, Jannett Dobie,
was in charge and opened the
meeting by all repeating the
4-H pledge followed by the min-
utes by Marian Hickey, Roll
call was answerd by naming
fruits that can be canned, froz-
en or dried.
The leader, Mrs. Keith Me-
ehan led in a discussion on how
fruits con be used in breakfast
menus as a beginning and the
end of the meal. She also told
the importance of using fruits
in cereals, jams and how they
contained Vitamin C. Mrs. Ed.
Davies demonstrated how to
make a fruit cup. Lunch was
served by Mrs. Bert Daer as-
sisted by her daughter, Laura.
Bank Manager
Mr. •and Mrs. Lloyd Humph-
ries took up residence recently
in the apartment above the
Canadian Imperial Bank of.
Commerce. A native of Paris,
Ontario, Mr. Humphries has
been appointed to be the new
manager of this bank to suc-
ceed James Hembly who was
transferred to the Dublin
branch. Coming here from
Sarnia, Mr. Humphries became
bank manager in 1957 when
he was at Cobalt, and in 1960
was transferred to Sarnia. He
also was at Port Perry, Milver
ton, Beaverton, Orillia and
Brussels. During World War II
he was a member of the RCAF.
He is married to the former
Jean MacDonald, Brussels, a
former school ;teacher. They
attend St. Mark's Anglican
Church.
101 Years Old
Rev. D. Leslie Elder, Sea-
forth, moderator of the Huron-
Maitland Presbytery was the
guest speaker last Sunday at
the 101st Anniversary of Knox
Presbyterian Church. The ch-
urch organist, Arthur Young-
blut was at the organ and was
in charge of the special music.
A duet, "How Great Thou-
Art" was sung by Mr. and Mrs.
Duncan Mackay and the choir
sang the anthem, "Praise Him,
Praise Him." Mr. Elder chase
for his text, "The Assets of the
Church", and based his message
on the 28th chapter of the Gos-
pel of St. Matthew. He divided
his message into three parts,
Great Master, Great Message,
and the Great Mission.
A beautiful bouquet of flow-
ers had been placed on the
Communion Table in memory
of the late Edgar Lawson by
his wife and daughter.
At the evening service, Rev.
Elder chose for •his text, "Ch-
rist's Love for His Church" as
found in the fifth chapter of
Ephesians. In closing •his mes-
sage he stated that in spite of

Members of the Tiger Dun-
lop branch of the Women's In-
stitute were guests at the Oc-
tober meeting of the Auburn
Women's Institute in the Or-
ange Hall, with the president,
Mrs, Ed, Davies in charge, and
Mrs, Robert J. Phillips at the
Piano. Minutes were read by
Mrs, Thomas Haggitt and she
also gave the financial state-
ment,
The members voted to assist
the Blyth branch and send gifts
for the Christmas Fair to ;be
held at Huronview. These gifts
are to be left at Mrs, Robert
J. Phillips' home before the end
of the month.
An invitation to attend the
bazaar at Lontlesboro on No-
vember 15 and a meeting of the
Tiger Dunlop Institute was ac-
cepted, The report of the card
committee was given by the
convener, Mrs. Andrew Kirk-
cormell,
Mrs, Keith Machan, leader
of the 4-H Club "Featuring
Fruit", gave a report of the
activities of the club and stat-
ed that ten members are tak-
ing this 'fall project.
Roll call was answered by
each member telling something
that they had to be thankful
for. Mrs, Robert J. Phillips
and Mrs. William Craig were
named' a committee to provide
a musical number for the Tiger
Dunlop meeting. Mrs. Bert
Craig and Mrs. Frank Raithby,
delegates to the Huron County
rally at Elimville, reported on
the two sessions. A solo, "Juan-
ita" was sung by Mrs. Gordon
Chamney."
The speaker of the afternoon
was Mrs. George Millian who
spoke on "Thanksgiving." She
gave an interesting paper on
what homemakers today should
be thankful for in everyday
life. She summarized her topic
by reciting "The Housekeeper's
Lament."
An interesting cake contest
was conducted by Mrs. James
Horton. Winners were Mrs.
Robert Bean, Mrs. Bert Craig,
everything in the world today,
love is still the greatest thing
in the world.
A quintette composed of Mis-
ses Barbara Mackay, Marjorie
Youngblut, Darlene Stewart,
Marie Leatherland and Margar-
et Haines sang, "This is My
Father's World". The choir
sang the anthem, "God Will
Take Care of You."
Guests attending this service
were from Ottawa, Kitchener,
Goderich, Blyth, Hamilton, Lon-
don and members of the sister
churches in the village.

Orville .Tree, A gift was pre-
seated to Mrs. Ernie Mitchell
for having a birthday nearest
the meeting day, Mrs. Robert

Mrs. Terence Hunter thanked
the Auburn branch for the in-
vitation to attend this meeting,
A penny sale was held with
Mrs. Bert Craig and Mrs.
Thomas Lawlor assisting the
president. Lunch was served
by the hostesses, Mrs. Thomas
