Mrs. Edward Wise spoke on the current project of collect- ing food product labels with the aim of obtaining a large coffee urn. Kelvin Jervis showed a splen- did religious educational film entitled "Where None Shall Thirst." The setting was in India and showed the struggle of a native preacher seeking salvation for himself and for his village congregation on the shores of the Nahluida River. Mrs. Ray Wise moved a vote of thanks to Mrs. Don Middle- ton and to her brother Kelvin for this exceptional film show- ing. Mrs. Edward Wise gave an editorial on the history of Thanksgiving. Mr. Harrison closed the meeting with pray- er after which the ladies serv- ed lunch, with Mrs. Fred Mid- dleton acting as hostess.
