to attend her trousseau tea.
Several contests were enjoy-
ed with Miss Nancy Caldwell
and Mrs. Glen Carter among
the winners. A delicious lunch

The family of the late Mrs.
Elizabeth Lyon held a family
reunion or get-together on Sun-

stitute had on interesting meet
ing in Londesboro Community
Hall on August 2, The presi-
dent, Mrs. T. Allen had a poem
on health. The topic for the
meeting was home economies
and health,
Mrs. L. Shobbrook, secretary
treasurer gave the secretary's
report, financial report, and
read the correspondence. Mrs.
W. Howatt and Mrs. H, Dur-
nin were appointed to the hos-
pital auxiliary. The roll call
was answered by "My Favour-
ite Home Remedy", Mrs. L.
Reid read current events and
Mrs, H, Durnin gave a read-
ing "Catching the Moth", Bar-
bara Burns gave two selections
on the accordion,

swimming instructors, Miss

interesting talk and demonstra-
tion on artificial respiration
and the way they conducted
their swimming classes. Miss

eastern parts of Canada taken
by her brother, Pilot David
