Fifty-five •residents, of Huron -
view had an enjoyable bus trip
last week to Goderich Harbour
Park.
A number took part in gam-
es and contests during the af-
ternoon after which a picnic
supper was served in the Pav-
ilion.
The weather was perfect and
everyone enjoyed the outing.

father, the bride was lovely in
a bridal gown of pure silk or-
ganza over ibrrid'al satin. The
fitted bodice featured a large
portrait neckline withchantilly
lace front yoke; long lily point
sleeves, a plain floor -length
skirt falling do regal folds from
apointed waistline, Her elbow
length veil, trimmedwith mat-
ching lace was held by a crown
of seed pearls. She carried a
White Bible crested with pink
roses +and stephanotis stream-
ers.
Attendants were Miss Dianne
Cooper, Wingham, and Mrs.
Gary Cooper, Clinton; maid of
honour Miss: Doris Cooper, Lan-
don and two flawergirls, Miss
Patricia Sutton, Ottawa, and
Miss Sharee Kennedy, Clinton.
They wore gowns etyled iden-
tically of pure Lsilk organza over
silk taffeta in turquoise. The
bodice featured fitted midriff,
gathered bust yoke, scoop neck-.
line and cap sleeves. Matching
lace applique was used at bust
and neckline. Very full street -
length skirts showed .deep hem-
lines trimmed with lace. They
wore crownless wide brims of
matching shades, and carried
white baskets of s'hasta daisies.
Douglas Barnett, Toronto,
was groomsman. Ushers were
Donald Moore, London and
Gary Cooper, Clinton.
Organist was Mrs. M. R,
Rennie, Soarforth, organist of
the church, and soloist George
Henderson sang "The Lord's
Prayer" and "Because".
For the reception in the ch-
urch parlours the bride's moth-
er received in a mauve sheath
and duster ensemble of peau de
sole and French lace. The
groom's mother wore a two-
piece ensemble of turquoise cry-
