termediate girls championship;
(Clinton's Cleo Langdon and
Elaine 13,eown were second and

One heartbreaker was the
fall suffered by Mike Michal-
ski as he entered the final
stretch on the cinder track dur-
ing the 880 yard run. Mike had
a good' chance at a champion-
ship, with a first in the high
jump behind him, in which he
went 5'3". At the Clinton
meet the week before he had
won first in the 880 yard rim,
with a time of 2.24, nearly
three seconds off the time
which won G. Ribey from Gude-
rich first place Saturday.
Following is a full report of
events. The winner at the
Clinton meet appears, in. brack-
ets. These times and distances
were not published last week.
Schools are abreviated, C for
Clintone G for Goderich; S for
Seaforth and W for Wingharn.
In ease of Saturday's competi-
tion resulting in a new HSSA
record, the old record appears
in brackets.
