The afternoon was made most enjoyable with races and relay games, and a ball game played in the adjac- ent grounds. Badminton and volleyball were quite popular and the older members enjoyed talking over old times. Following a bounteous sup- per, a sing-song was conducted and Robert Welsh, RR 2, Bay- field', was song leader. Mrs. Ephriani Snell accompanied on the piano. Howard Snell, Clin- ton, presided over the business part of the meeting. He called on Humphrey Gray, Benton Harbour, Mich., who spoke briefly, expressing pleasure at such as fine attendance. The same slate of officers were re-elected'' for another term. The prize for coming the farthest went to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Whitney, Benton Har- bour, Mich. The largest family present, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peck, Hensall. Monday, June 20 after a short illness. lie' was born in 1896 in Stan- ley Township, the son of the late Andrew Reid and Annie Murray. In 1920 he married the former Isabelle Parker, who survives, also three sons, William, Ottawa; Robert, Wal- laceburg; Charles, Varna, and eight grandchildren. Three sisters survive, Mrs. Win Cable (Mable), Windsor; Mrs. Paul John (Margaret), Flint, Mich.; Mrs. Verna Green- burg, Flint, Mich.; 'also one brother,' James, Weston. The members of LOL 1035 conducted an Orange service at the Bonrbhron funeral home, Hensel', on Wednesday. The funeral service was con- ducted, by the Rev. T. J. Pitt from the Varna United Church with interment in Bayfield Cemetery. Pallbearers were Anson Coleman, Elmer Turner, Alf. Johnston, John Ostrom, Fred McClymont and Roy Keys.
