fine meat recipe8 where meat is

another receipe for braising and
simmering meat.

Hears Reports; Has-Musical. Program
mittee reported four quilts quilt-
ed since last meeting. Program
consisted of two duets sang by
Margaret Trewartha and Charlene
Turner, accompanied on the piano
by Mrs. E. Radford, and two
piano duets by Miss Elva Wiltse
and Mrs. E. Radford. Lunch was
served by the ladies of St. John's
ward.

London Road Club. President Mrs.
H. Plumsteel was in charge. Roll
call was answered. by each one
telling of a famous Irish person.
Mrs. Rooth, secretary, gave her
report. Mrs.. Managhan gave the
flower report. The club will buy
a film for the camera at the
county home and send $5- to the
Easter Seals fund. Flower col-
lections amounted to $1.01.
Mrs. Deane gave a demonstra-
tion of making hats. Lunch was
served by Mrs. Managhan and
Mrs. Rooth assisted by Mrs. Har-
land.•
The April meeting will be at
the home of Mrs. Clare Magee.
Each member will assist with
lunch by bringing a few cookies
and sandwiches. Roll call will be
answered by giving horse clean-
ing hints.

parlour with the president, Mrs.
J. B. Lavis in the chair. Pianist

Mrs. Laois extended a welcome
to •all and expressed the symp-
athy of the WA to those who had
been bereaved recently.
Devotions were taken by Mrs.
Charles Elliott, on the theine
"Joint heirs with Christ," and the
Scripture reading was.taken from
Romans 8:1-5 and 12 of 17.
Mrs. E. Welsh read the secre-
tary's report. The treasurer Mrs.
