The prise list will be published next week. Mrs, John Consitt, a well-known resident of Hensall recently celebrat­ ed her 88th birthday at her home here. During the day many of her relatives and friends called to extend their congratulations. ADDRESS AND PRESENTATION A social evening was held in the basement of the Anglican ..church on Friday evening last in honor of. Rev. and ■ Mrs. Naylor, who are leaving this week for Dresdon. The .church and tables were- beautifully decorat­ ed for the occasion. The program consisting of an instrumental by Margaret Drummond, s'blo by Louise Drummond, solo by Mr. W. O, Good­ win, reading by Mrs. Pepplar, solo by Mr. Houston, after which a dainty lunch Was served. Short speeches were given by members of the con­ gregation, after which Mr. A. L, Case read the following address: . To Reverend and Mrs. Naylor and Family For more than five years we, as members and adherents of your ’ church have profited by your min­ istrations and within that period you have greatly endeared yourselves to us by your amiable character, your earnest. devotion to duty, and? the- hearty interest you have manifested . in our ‘Welfare as ,-a people-: In -the* years that you have been in our midst the parishes have -prospered, as never before. During their term here Mr. and Mrs. Naylor have endeared themselves to the people of Hensall and who are very sorry at them leaving. Mr. Naylor was a prominent member of the Library Board and was always willing to help out at anything that would tend to. the improvement of the village. If you hav.e not yet applied for your Motor Vehicle Operator’s License, secure it at once. Application forms can be had at any garage. Anyone who has driven 500 miles, and for 6 months continuously, and who has no physical disability which may interfere with the opera­ tion of a car may be granted a License. Examinations will be given to all other applicants. The Motor Vehicle Operator’s Licenses are a measure of protection of yourself and all others on the road.
