EULOGY TO, A BYGONE DAY
Clinton 1'.,-aws-Record:
It has' come to our attention
'that theilinxy Theatre, sa long the
focal point of the avid-week even-
ing entertainment, will soon pass
out of existence. It is. with much
nebulous nostalgia and sentimen-
tal sadness that we recall the
many familiar scenes Which pass
with the "progress" of the chang-
ing Clinton scene.

scenes will soon become a part of
the dim and distant past (pardon

The cause of the demise of "the

and we cannot question the econ-

about. At the same time we
mourn the impermanence of 'this
long-estalblished landmark, and the
last dimming of the lights which
will bring the close of an enter-
tainment era in Clinton, —D.C.
