Jane Stephenson, daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Steph-
enson, Goshen. Line, and P John
Dawson, son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Dawson, Babylon
Line, were united in marriage by
the Rev. Berry, Seaforth.
They have resided on the Baby-
lon line for the past 50 years. The
family consists of four sons, Har-
old, Cecil, Glen and George; all of
Vagina, also eight grandchildren.
The dining room was decorated
with yellow candles and a three-
story wedding cake; which was de,
corated with yellow roses and
gold ornaments. It was baked by
Mrs. Cecil Dowson and iced and
decora:ted by Mrs. Kenneth Mc-
Lean', Ilensall,

family were in Teeswater on Sun-
day.
Students home for Christmas
vacation are Mary Helen Yeo,
from Stratford Teachers' College;
Kenneth Potter, ' from O.A.C.,
Guelph; Jack Norman, from the
University of Toronto; Eleanor
Yeo, from the Royal Victoria Hos-
pital, Montreal, and Frances Mc-
Cullough, from Toronto Western
Hospital. , '
Christmas Concert
The Christmas concert at the
Holmesville school was held on
Monday, December 4, with Frank
Yeo as chairman. The program
opened with a chorus, "Merry
Christmas" sung by ten small boys.
Choruses were sung, by the senior
'pupils, and a solo by Mary Lynne
Forbes; Lucille- Bond played a
piano solo. The senior , girls did a
star drill.
Four Short plays, "Junior's
Christmas Dime" "Busy Mother's
Problems,. "Yassith,Boss", • and
"Best Christmas Ever" were great-
ly enjoyed. Recitations were given
by Brian Gibbs and David McCul-
lough, and Linda McClinchey gave
a manologue, The closing number
was "A Christmas, Vision," with a
Nativity . scene,• and the senior
chorus singing carols.
At intermission Mrs. L. Saddler
led the audience in' carol singing.
After singing the Queen, oSanta
arrived and handed out the gifts
were presented by the two young-
est grandchildren, The" address
was read by their oldest grand-
daughter, Marion. The family
and grandchildren presented them
with a 21 inch TV.
Mr. and Mrs. Dawson gave a
fitting reply. Gifts and cards
were received from friends and
relatives. •John Dowson and their
son George entertained with violin
selection,s an• the evening was hap-
pilly. spent playing progressive
euchre.
Attending were people from.
Sarnia, Clinton, Kinburn and
Varna.
They also entertained neighbors
and relatives who called on Tues-
day, December 15. The table was
decorated with yellow roses and
guest book which was presented
to them by their son Glen. The
evening was spent with music by
John, George Dawson, and Pat
Kennedy, Goderich.
Lunch was served in the after-
noon and evening by the daughter-
in-laws and granddaughters.
