The Christmas meeting of the
Weoley,Willis United Church Good
Will -club was held in the Sunday
School room on Tuesday, Decem-
ber 8, with Mrs. H. G. Manning
Presiding.
A hymn was sung, Luke
was read by Mrs R. Jenkins,
Prayer was given by Miss H.
Diehl, Mrs. B. Sutter sang the
beautiful, "Indian Carol,"
Reports of secretary and treas-
urer 'were read. Mrs. G. BC, Jef-
ferson rePOrted on the travel
basket, Several donations were
made, some of which were .$1.9 to
SPCA; $15 to assist in defraying
expenses for Christmas, Church
decorations, $75 balance promis-
ed for renovation of Sunday
School room.
After discussion and disposal of
considerable business, Mrs, F.
Fingland as guest speaker chose
for her topic, "This and That,"
dividing it into three parts-The
SS 5, school Porter's. Hill will
hold their annual Christmas Con-
cert on Monday evening, .Decent-
ber 2.
The church was well attended
on Sunday last when White Gift
service was observed. Rev. John
Patrick delivered a inspiring mes-
sage, Scripture lesson was read
by Dennis Harris and a poem by
Peggy Ann Betties. Shirley 3/10-
Cowan. gave the Christmas story..

The Young Peoples' Union Of
Children's Aid Society, SPCA and
lastly gave a brief, interesting
history of the Buchan family
(O'Denglas). Mrs, Sutter contri-
buted another solo, "0 Holy
Night."
Thanks was expressed by Mrs.
A. Adams to the speaker and solo-
ist and to all who had assisted
with the meeting.
Members were asked to bring
quilt patches and used Christmas
cards to the January meting for
distribution at the County Home.
Group 2 served delicious Christ-
mas refreshments, during social
half hour.

The Sunday School of Grace
Church' held its annual Christmas
Concert on Friday evening last.
Rev. John Patrick was Chairman.
The program started with the
singing of carols by the school,
The beginners class, Connie
Harris, Donnie McIlwain, Kevin
Cox, Jimmy Riddell, Peter Idsinga,
Hattie Idsinga, Debby Torrance,
Sandra Cox and Judy Cox gave
recitations.
Recitations by the primary
girls: Elaine Townshend, Christine
Harris, Linda Torrance and Col-
leen Lockhart. The primary boys,
John Cox, John Manning, Murray
Torrance And Laurie Cox also
gave recitations,

pipes by Frank Patrick were ea-
mecl by all. The primary girls
and boys sang, "Christnia0," A
