Colin Wain, partner in L. and
W. Motors, Albert Street, is a
patient in Clinton Public Hospi-
tal, since Saturday night, Colin
had been. testing a motorcycle on
the highway between Clinton and
Blyth, when he was thrown from
the machine,
Travelling at about 25 mileS Per
hour, he was dragged for some
distance, and suffered a fractur-
ed right wrist, and lacerations to
head, both legs, and his elbow.
He was discovered by a passing
motorist, who brought him into
the garage, and his' partner, Wal-
ter Lee, took him to hospital,
His condition is regarded as good,

September was the busiest mon-
th so far in Clinton Public Hos-
pital, •and on Tuesday all beds
were occupied. Both George Rum-
ball and Harvey Johnston, who
shared a room in hospital for
several weeks, have been dis-
charged.
Four-year-old Glenda Blake,
RR 2, Clinton, daughter of Mr,
and Mrs. 0. Gerald Blake, is in
hospital with a high fever fol-
lowing a scratch while playing
with a dog. Her cheek was sutur-
ed.
Mrs. Ella Ruddle, Londesboro,
had a slight fracture of the left
shoulder x-rayed and has gone
home.
