with Fraser, Pam and Kim, Wind-
sor, visited Mrs. Fellows parents,
over the weekend, Mr. and Mrs.
Fred Fraser.
The Rev. and, Mrs. C. E. Pea-
cock,, had their daughter, Mrs.
George Lang, and Mr. Lang, To-
ronto, visiting at the parsonage,
for a few days, this week.
Mrs. J. R. R. Willock, with
Douglas, Cathy and Ainsley, for-
merly of Brazil, and now living in
Stratford, called on friends in the
village on Friday,
Mrs. John MacLeod,• had her
mother Mrs. R. Murray, and sister
Donna, Toronto, with her for the
Weekend. Helen MacLeod, Lon,
don, was also home,
Mrs, E. J. Bauer, with her son
and family, Mr ,and Mrs. Eugene
Bauer, Regis and Roberta, Kitch-
ener, were at their ,cottage on
Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Turlancl
and family, returned to their
home on Sunday from 'Kincardine,
where they attended the funeral
of Mrs, Turiand's brother,
Mr. and Mrs. Nelson R. Mc-
Conkey, Toronto, and their son
John and family ,London, were at
their Bayfield home for several
days, this week.

R, H. Larson, are attending the
Dicicessan sessions of the Women's
Auxiliary, being held in London
this week, as delegates from Trin-
ity Church's Branch.
George Hewitt, brother of Mrs.
Emmerson Heard, who has been
spending part of the winter here,
left on Friday for Hurnberstone,
near Port Colbourne, to join his
boat, for the summer,
George Hopson, is in Westtriiw
ster hospital, London, for treat-
ment. Mrs. R. Maclure, is in Clin-
ton hospital. Cohn Campbell who
was for several weeks a patient
in the Clinton Hospital, is now at
home.
George CaStle was taken•to the
hospital in Clinton, last week. His
daughter, Mrs. Robert Heath,
Calgary, with young son Timmy,
arrived by plane from Calgaxy, on
Saturday, owing to the serious ill-
ness of her father.
Mack MacLeod, Port Dover, vis-
ited his father in Westminster
hospital, London, on Sunday, spent
a few days. with his mother and
family here, before joining his
boat, the "Pillsbury" in Goderich
this week.
Jack Murray, Owen Sound, vis-
ited his sister, Mrs. J. MacLeod,
this weekend, before joining his
boat at Goderich this week. Mr.
and Mrs. Tom Colquhoun, Clinton,
also joined the family gathering
on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Adam Flower had
their son and family, Mr, and Mrs.
Russell Flower, Kim and Debbie,
Toronto, with them over the week-
end. Mr. Flower returned to To-
ronto, but Mrs. Flower and the
children, are staying • here this
week.
Many cottage owners were here
Saturday and Sunday. Among
them, Mr. and Mrs. E. Pollard,
London; Mr. and Mrs. William
Bennett, London; Mr. and Mrs.
Gordon Pfaff and sons front Wind-
sor; Mr. and Mrs, Cree Cook, Clin-
ton, and many others.
Mr. and Mrs, Jack Pounder; with
John, Catherine and Mary, Lon-
don, were guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Lloyd Seotchmer, over the week-
end. Mrs. Scotchmer's sister, Mrs.
Lulu Burt, her daughter Mary
Lou, and Mr. Otto Rennankampff,
Lohdon, were also visitors on Sun-
day.
Notices are being posted, regar-
ding the annual Bayfield Commun-
ity Park Project, the annual rumµ
mage sale to be held July 14, At
this season of . the year, "house-
cleaning time" people are asked
to save articles that can be sold.
All helps to finance the picture
shows, held during July and Aug-
ust at Pioneer Park.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Sturgeon,
and daughter Nancy Joyce, Pres-
ton, spent Sunday with Mr. and
Mrs. Ed. Sturgeon. Other guests
were Donnie, Dorothy and Charles
Solonick, Preston; Mr. and Mrs.
Carl Baird, and two daughters,
Darlene and Deborah, London. Mr.
and Mrs. D. M. Bisback, Clinton,
were also Sunday guests.

showing of Mr. and Mrs, LeRoy
Poth's delightful colored pictures
of a trip they had taken from
Bayfield to New Prleans, Gulf of
Mexico, Florida, and home again.
Mr .,Path with his new modern
projector, presented many scenes
of the southern clime, the old
berms of the southland, with many
of their interiors, beautiful be-
yOnd description..' Mrs, Poth held
the constant attention of every-
body, old and yotmg, as she de-
Scribed each scene.
-Preceeding the pictures, was a
short program by some of Bay-
field's talented children, ..arranged
by, Mrs. Brown Higgins.. The Rev,
B, Harrison, announced each
number, as the children were call-
ed upon to perform, and the .ap-
plause that greeted .each one, gave
evidence of the talent there is in
the village, .
They were as follows; trumpet
solo, "God Save-the Queen", David
Archer; piano solo, "Caprice",
Sharon Middleton; vocal solo, "The
Blue Bells of Scotland,", Barbara
Turner; piano solo,,. "Song of the
Pines", Gayle 'Turner; piano solo,
"Elfin Dance," Sandra Middleton;
vocal' solo ,"Brahm's Lullaby,'
Mary Elizabeth Erwin; a reading,
"Canada's Northland", Linda Gei-
meinhardt;
Following the program, Trinity
club members served refreshments
and the rector thanked Mr.• and
Mrs. Poth 'and the children for
their delightful evening's enter-
tainment, also Mrs. R. S. Roddick,
for her assistance in accompanying
the young singers. • -
