the Protestant Chapel are asked

1909, Mr, Hale was the son of the
late Charles B. and Vivien. Hale.
He 'was married on May 1.0, 1958,
and- lived in St, Catherines for
the past 29 years. He was a mem-
ber of S. -colo.roba's ,Aoglioan Ch-
urch, and a member of Perfec,
tion Lodge A,F, and A.M, Ne,

"Mr. Hale was foreman with the
Monarch Knitting Company in St.
Catherines. Death canie, suddenly
of a heart attack, following an
illness of about four months.
Surviving is his wife 13ella,
his stepson, Joseph. Wriglit, age
ten; three sisters, Mrs. , Harry
(Ruth) Cochrane, . Mrs. Harold
(Erma), Hartley. and Miss Marj-
orie Hale, all, of, Clinton. A bro-
ther Robert predeceased him in
December 1957,
Persons attended the funeral
'from Wallaceburg, Dunneville, To-
ronto, and Clinton.
• Percy Glazier
Percy Glazier, concession 4,
lett Township, died in his 69th
year Sunday in the Clinton Public
Hospital after a week's illness, re-
sult of a stroke.
Born in Mullett Township on
November 21, 1890, the son of
the late Henry Glazier and Han-
nab Freeman, he lived in that
area all of his life. •
His survivors include three sis-
ters, Mrs. Selena Riley, Clinton;
Mrs. Mary Hesseiwood, Blyth and
Mrs. Mervin Hodges, Port Albert;
also ten nephews and five nieces.
Funeral service was from the
Ball and Mutch funeral home,
High Street, Clinton, Tuesday af-
ternoon, January 6, with Rev. J.
A. McKim officiating. Burial was
in the Clinton Cemetery.
Pall-bearers were Henry Glew,
Elmer Dale, Theodore Dale, Doug-
las Freeman, Harry Freeman and
Carman Couth
Carman Cecil Coutts, 46, chief
of Property and Finance, Canada
Department of Agriculture, died
of an apparent heart seizure at
his home in Osgoode, Ontario,
early New Year's Day. Born at
Wingham, he graduated from the
Ontario Agricultural College with
a B.S.A. degree in :1935.
He was slated to become direc-
tor of Property and Finance Divis-
ion in an Administration Branch
being formed with a departmental
re-organization that Will take ef-
fect April, this year.
Bruce Koehler * -
Bruce Koehler, 46, RR 2, Hen-
sall was fatally injured when a
tractor he was driving overturned
and pinned him beneath it, Tues-
day afternoon, December 30.
Mr. Koehler and . three other
men were skidding logs hi a bush
at Cairngorm, six miles from
Strathroy when his tractor appar-
ently hit a stump and overturned.
He was dead on arrival at Strath-
roy hospital.
Working with Mr. Koehler were
his son Donald, Leonard Lovell
and Earl Soldharn, all of Hensall.
Surviving besides his wife, the
former Pearl Willert, are three
sons, Glen, Donald and Keith;
three daughters, Dianne and Lin-
da at home, and Mrs, Arthur
(Joan) McCallum, Toronto; his
mother, Mrs, Nancy Koehler, Zur-
ich; two brothers, Harold, Toron-
to, and Keith, Huntsville; two
sisters, Mrs, Allan Craig, Toron-
to, and Mrs. Leonard Erb, Parr

At Christmas Meeting.
The December meeting of the
London Road Club was held at
the home of Mrs. `:William Wat-
MS, The president, Mrs. Ander-
son presided. Roll call was ans-
wered by each one present' plac-
ing a gift under the Christmas
tree.
The treasurer gave her report.
Mrs. C. Magee had charge of pro-
gram consisting of two films on
Columbia Adventure and Potato
Harvest in New Brunswick, Mrs,
William Watkins gave a readng
'The Nite after Christmas,"
Clare Magee entertained with
two piano instrumentals, It was
decided to send boxes to- the sink
and shut-ins, The officers were
all re-elected; president,

luck lunch was served, with Mrs,
Watkins as hostess. The next
meeting will be at the home of
Mrs, Norman Manning on January
18. Hostesses, Mrs. Ouctler and
Mrs. Magee, Mrs, Rooth will have
charge of program.
