Sunday, December 28, was in-
deed an important event in the
life of Trinity Church, Bayfield.
For over a hundred years, services
have been carried on without a
vested choir, always so much a
part of Anglican tradition,
Through personal gifts, and a
donation of $1:00. from Trinity
Church Guild, the ,Chancel Guild
was able to purchase cassOcks
and surplices and caps,, for the
girls and women of the Choir, and
they were all worn for the first
time at the morning and evening
carol service, on Sunday. The rec-
tor, the Rev. E. J. B. Harrison,
dedicated the vestments at the
morning service.
The Rector also announced, that
a great friend of the Parish, liv-
ing in Chicago, a baptized mem-
ber of Trinity Church, had sent
a $100 check to' the church to en-
able them to purchase vestments
for the boys of the choir as well,
and this will indeed add to the
beauty and divinity of the church
services.

forward to with interest, and at

large. Miss Mavis Steepe is the
teacher at the village school and

Line school.
