9,000 thronged Clinton's streets
last Saturday as the notes of the
fife and drum bands of South-
western Ontario Orange Ledges
called the members to take part in
their famed "walk". Eating acco-
mmodations were strained to the
limit and cars were parked bump-
er -to -bumper on both sides of ev-
ery street in town . . 150 pure-
bred Shorthorn cattle, the largest
rail shipment out of Clinton in
some years, left the CNR stock-
yards here bound for Georgia,
U.S.A.
