Four towns will take part, Formation of the new league was completed last Friday night at the Clinton Legion Hall, Sep- tember 19. Members are two teams from Goderich; one from Wing - ham; one from Exeter; two from Clinton, There were two repre- sentatives from each of the four towns taking part in the election of officers. A 20 -week schedule has been drawn up, and four weeks to com- plete play-offs. She is 18 years of age and has an outstanding record in 4-H Homemaking Club work in Huron County. In May 1955 she complet- ed six projects and was awarded' County Honiours. Meeting opened by singing a hymn and Psalm 701 was read respensively. Mrs, Edwin Cooper led in prayer., The treasur• er reported a satjsfactery amount on hand. Members decided to send a bale of used clothing and two crib quilts to the S1onaan school car. Mrs. 13111 Hanley distributed quilt blocks amongst the members to be made up fqr the school ear. A humorous poem was read by Mrs. Edwin Cooper. Mrs. William Holland was in charge of the pro- gram. The stories were read by the members namely, "Telling Your Child About God", and "The Eldest Child in the Family", and a lively discussipn followed, Mrs. Raymond Cantelon offered her home for the October meet- ing, with Mrs. Hardy and Mrs. Eugene McAdam in charge, host- esses to be Mrs. George Cantelon and Mrs, Bill Hanley.
