Cuninghame, of Elec- tronics Park, Syracuse, N.Y., has spent the last two week-ends with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Cuninghame, The interim he spent in Toronto, where he attended the annual convention of the American Railroad Association, before whom he carried out 'a technical presen- tation of G.E. "Religious drama can and should play a very important part in re- ligious education and all churches would do well to give strong slip- port to their young people in their efforts of this kind," reports one observer. "It is most encourag- ing to know that there are still many young people who lind.pleas- ure- in activities of this kind in spite of the current 'rock and roll' fad," Constance YPU played a modern story of "The Prodigal Son", while Egmondville presented the Biblical version, Brucefield showed a mod- ern play op Stewardship and Titheing, while Brussels depicted the visit of the Great Guest. All the groups were complimented on their performance by adjudicators Mrs. A. Glen Eagle and H. Gs Manning. The winning play put on by the Brussels YPU under the direction of Mrs. Roy Kennedy, was out- standing in the convincing sincer- ity of the performers. She will take up her duties in Workmen's Re- habilitation Centre, Edmonton, Al- berta early in June. 0 Ballet Class To Hold Recital Saturday`-Night About 18 youngsters last night stepped their way through dress rehearsal for their first ballet re- cital, to be held in the Legion Hall on Saturday night. Pupils of Mrs. Tony Zabiocki, the students are putting on the show for the ben- efit of the Crippled Children; and a silver collection will be accepted. Starting time is eight o'clock. Mrs, Zablocki, who moved with her family to Clinton less than a year ago, from Londesboro, has been conducting her ballet class only for the past winter. She has planned two ballet "stories" for the children, called "Spring Fan tasy" and "Betty's Sweet Dream" which give all of them a chance to take part, Violin selections and vocal pieces will be included in the prograth. 0 • • Holstein Breeders Oat. Mrs,. L,„ McMillan The death of Mrs, William F. MeMilla.n, Egmondville, .occurred in Scott Memorial Hospital, sea- forth, on Tuesday. She was 84. Mrs, MelVfillan had been in failing health since February of this year. She was born in Zorra, the for- mer Margaret U. l3urclge, and was married in 1898 at Brucefield to the late William S, MeMillan, who, predeceased her in 1937, She went to the Seaforth dis- trict 43 years ago, and was a member of :Egmondville United Church, and other church groups. Surviving are two datighters, Jessie (Dar's. Stanley Gray), Strat- ford; and Miss Laura Toronto; two sisters, 1V/re, Robert Watson, Brucefield, and Mrs. John Watson, Egmondville; one broth- er, Fred Enrclge, Erueefield.
