The Bluebells will again meet
in 'thee Commercial Hotel on Sat-
urday afternoon from three to
six Npo'clock, - and will continue

for Farmers have won first place
in the Huron County Junior Farm-
ers drama festivals, and so have
earned the right to go to GtielOh
and there enter inter-county com-
petitions for the provincial title.

tory through the delightful comedy
situation which found its roots in
the adolescent boy's love •for his
first dress suit, and the Young
groom Whose. own clothes did not
arrive from the tailor's in time
for the wedding ceremony.

adjudicators, towards the plays,

A particularlylinteresting and
well-attended event ,at Wesley-
Willis "united. Church last Sunday
was the annual Men's Sunday
sponsored by the Men's Club of
the Wesley-Willis - Holmesville
charge. Guest speaker -was Step-
hen Poi-1ton, London, past presi-
dent of the London Conference
Lay Association.
Subject of the morning address
was the consecration of one's life
and in the evening. Mr. Ponton
spoke of how to 'bring one's faith
into everyday living.
John W. Nediger, president of
the Me,n's Club was in charge of the
morning's s4Vice was 'assisted by
Dewar Norman. The full male
choir sang "Meet Me 'There" 'by
Kilpati-ick and "Sweeter as the
Years Go By," under the directi3n
of M. R: Rennie, with Mrs. Rennie
at the organ, Soloist for the lat-
ter number was Walker Hart, Sea-
forth., Supporting the choir was
the' eaforth Male Quartet', com-
prising J. T. Scott, F. E. Willis, M.
R. Rennie and D. Reid, and they
sang "Just for 'Today" and "Be-
hold, I Show you a Mystery." Ush-
ers were Donald' Hugill, Calvin
*Jervis, Eugene McLaren and Bert
Clifford.
In the• evening Elmer HUgill,
Vice-president of the Men's Club,
was in charge of the service, as-
sisted by Irvine Tebbutt. The
ch-oir numbers were "Jesus is
AlWays There" by Lillemas and
"Will there be any Stars?" by
Sweney. The quartet sang "The
Wayside Cross" by • Palmer and
"Somebedy's Knocking at Your
Door" /by Herbert. Ushers were
Douglas Norman, Kenneth and
Ronald Riley and Gordon Tebbutt.
Though not in the pulpit, the
key, H. C. Wilson assisted in the
choir at both services and at the
close of the evening serivee, he
expressed appreciation to all those
who had taken part or assisted in
any way. •

The Hon. Walter Harris, Minis-
ter of Finance, stated, "No one has
more' right to a claim on the Fed-
eral Treasury than the •farmers,"

At the K. C. Cooke Florist Shop,
the intruders apparently gained

the till which was found open
when Mr, Cooke returned to the
shop after supper, It was not the
customary thing for money to be
left at the shop, but the proprietor
had planned fo be away for only a
short time,
The secend occurrence was at
about the same time of the even-
ing, when the Lions Arena was
entered. Here only minor theft
was noted,
